1.Who is the programme for: BSc(Hons) in Banking practice and mngmt degree is designed to cater for a variety of different requirements including those starting out in a management career in financial services, particularly in retail and commercial banking. It provides essential core knowledge of the industry, the external environment in which it operates and the interaction b/w the two. 2. Course duration: Full Time classes: 36months, Part Time classes: 36months The progamme consists of 3 stages each of 12 months duration 3.Qualified age: 18 years Min Academic Entry Requirement: Any 3 ‘A’ level subjects with Grades B,C and C or the international Baccalaureate (28 points) or equivalent High School/ Year 12 qualification. Polytechnic Diploma in a non-relevant field Students with 2 ‘A’ level subjects may enter via the ACCA ‘Fundamental papers F1-F6’, Students may be eligible for entry/exemption. Applicants must hold GSCE Mathematics at min grade C and English language at min grade C or an IELTS score of 6.0 with no elements below 5.5. Mature Applicants: To be considered for mature entry you will be required to meet the following criteria Be aged 30 or over with 8yrs of relevant experience equivalent. Unable to meet the standard entry criteria for Professional certificate in banking(PCertB) All international students for whom English is not their first language and do not meet the above requirements must provide evidence of their linguistic ability by gaining a minimum level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent, prior to receiving an offer for the course.
