Who is the programme for: The Diploma in Law has been developed by London School of Business and Finance to provide a qualification for students who are seeking to work in the legal industry or in occupations where a practical knowledge of the legal industry will be of utility. It acts as a standalone qualification for students. 2.Career Opportunities: Legal Executive, Legal Secretary, Paralegal. 3. Course duration: Full Time classes: 8months, Students attend 3hr lessons per day plus directed/independent study for a period of 8months from Monday to Friday Part Time classes: 12months, industrial Attachment: 6months, Students can attend 3hr lessons 2 nights a week and scheduled weekends for a period of 12mnths 4. Qualified age: 18years 5. Course intake: Full Time- every 2months, Part Time- every 3months Min Academic Entry Requirement: Two passes in GCE A Level Examination; or 5 GCE ‘O’ levels plus work experience(min 2 years) or an additional year of study; or Completion of equivalent High School Qualification (min year 11); or Pass in appropriate Foundation/ Certificate programme; or Other similar qualification; or Mature Entry Route (MER) Minimum age of 21+ work experience (2 years min) will be assessed on a case-by- case basis. Min English Language entry Requirement: Students must have achieved a grade C6 or better in English language O Level, or the equivalent ( for e.g. Malaysia SPM English Language(122 or 322) C6 or better: Sri lanka ‘O’ level min S pass) All international students for whom English is not their first language and do not meet the above requirements must provide evidence of their linguistic ability by gaining a minimum level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent, prior to receiving an offer for the course. Otherwise a pass at PCE- upper Intermediate LSBF English programme or equivalent.
